Trouble with Product Key
SP1 will not install if Windows was activated using one of the known stolen product keys, and there have been 1 or 2 problem with MSDN product key, for which you need rolled back the NVD drivers and at least the error message came up this time - now tells me I have an invalid prod key, though I do not know why.

So the end result is that if you type lower-case the code on the screen is exactly like it is supposed to be (upper-case), BUT the setup program has recorded your actual keystrokes (which are lower-case) and so the code is invalid! This looks to me like a bug in the W2003 setup, to my knowledge it was not working

I have slipstreamed my copy of Xp Pro OEM with Service pack 2. i have now formated my PCit all installs ok with the product key but when i come to activate it it says product key is invalid. We have tried the product key on the key card that came with our DVD set, we've tried the key listed on the MSDN product keys page. We've even tried older DVD's from earlier this year incase the problem was with the September 2004 disc, and we're always getting the same problem. Invalid Product Key message.
